6 -- well "ghoulies and ghosties" and "bumps in the night" are kind of obvious, aren't they?

[Video the first: Freddy's lounging around the library, sprawled in a chair with a fairly sizable stack of comics piled on a table nearby.  The feed affords a pretty good image of this given the communicator's position on the table, although about half of him is cut off by the stack whose title can't be read because it's obscured by a copy of World War Z casually dropped on top.  Either way, he doesn't really seem to be paying attention, too engrossed in an issue of Spawn; he figured it was appropriate and couldn't pass it up the minute he found it.  He's got a cigarette lit, although it's dangling from his fingers and he seems to have forgotten about it if the size of the ash buildup on the end is any indication, and there's an opened box of Captain Crunch tucked into the chair next to him.  After about five minutes of this he glances up to see the glow of the screen.  He frowns in puzzlement, then reaches over to turn it off.]

[Video the second: About 20 minutes later the feed starts up again.  Same location, but this time Freddy's actually paying attention; all comics are on the table, and he's moved the communicator so he's fully visible.  He takes a few drags of the cigarette and blows a couple rings before addressing whoever's listening.]

...Anybody else get the feeling this is just an elaborate Halloween party come early?  Like Disney with their five-year-long celebrations for whichever anniversary they're coming up on.  I mean, kudos for the effects and the locked doors and the creepy fuckin' atmosphere, but.  Come on, it's like walkin' around in a fuckin' haunted house, next thing you know we're gonna have dummies wrapped in toilet paper poppin' outta the broom closets or somethin'.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE horror movies, and the whole genre; personally I think Lost Boys is one of the greatest movies ever made, blatant subtext or not, an' Psycho was pure GENIUS.  But.  It's just a buncha speakers an' shit, you don't gotta freak out about it.

Unless I'm missin' somethin' here...?

claire breaks the stereotype, [verse]: sweet sounds of the barge, mr super-cool, someone needs to be the voice of reason , fun with clones, [event]: it was a graveyard smash?, freddy has questions, secret agent man
