[Freddy's much more casual this go-round; he's ditched the coat and tie and the starchy button-down in favor of just the wifebeater and jeans, and his hair's nowhere close to slicked back and behaving. He looks much more comfortable this way. No cool and suave here, just the "tough guy" act.]

So here's what I don't get.

...Disappeared. I thought they were brought here though. What, does the Admiral just figure they're lost causes and dump 'em or something?

[Eesh. Well that's not good. All kinds of implications if the Admiral does things like that; what if he doesn't think Freddy's doing his job well? Will he get dumped too, and Larry and Marvin discarded just as easily?

Makes sense; just like criminals outside, right? You get to a point where you just can't do nothin' for 'em anymore so you just shove 'em in a cell an' let 'em rot.

...Okay, bad example, but same basic idea, right? You can't help everybody. Better to figure it out an' deal with it then instead of draggin' it out forever an' bangin' your head against a cement wall over an' over.

Still, ain't the most reassuring environment to be in, if that's the way it works here.
