i have been cownloading anime like a king since arriving home and have downloaded somewhere near 40 gigs already this summer, some shows have been good, some have been terrible and others are so delicious that i need more, kyou kara maou is one such anime. I have in the past 24 hours watched 41 episodes with 9 hours of sleep in between my watching now i have decided i will buy this show when it comes out but buy the way it looks with the season 1 which contained 39 episodes ummmmmmmmm 39 episodes of goodness it could be 78 episodes or more i hope more now the problem is that its already liscensed to alot of the fan sub groups have stoped subbing already but i need my fix. oh sue if you read this you will love this show so much, jaime you will to im going to show it to you monday. now i know nobodies even going to read this since you know i have posted in months but man this show is amazing. heres the plot from 2 different sources.

Yuri Shibuya was living a pretty normal life. That changed the day he was dunked into a toilet after an attempt to save a classmate from a gang of bullies. Instead of just getting a good soaking, he's pulled in. The next thing he knows, he's in a world that vaguely resembles medieval Europe. If that's not odd enough, he's told that he is to be the next Maou, just because he has black hair and black eyes. The Maou is the King of the Mazoku, who are coexisting not-so-peacefully with the humans in this world. Much to his subject's dismay, he's totally different from the rulers they're accustomed to. He's kind, considerate, a believer in justice, and not willing to use violence to solve conflicts. Not exactly someone they want running a country on the very brink of war. Now, Yuri has to deal with trying to become a good Maou, while at the same time attempting to adapt to this land's customs and culture, all in a world where the tension between the humans and Mazoku is reaching its peak. One day, Shibuya Yuuri finds himself flushed down a toilet and into an alternate universe of medieval knights, flying skeletons and frightened peasants. As the story meanders along, he meets pretty boys, pretty girls, a mad scientist, the drooling fan, the strong silent manly man, a moaning sword... pretty much the whole gamut of fantasy stereotypes are parodied in this show.
It is first and foremost a comedy, and those who keep this in mind will certainly enjoy the show. No deep soul-searching here, but there are interesting plot twists to go with all the gags. Don't get turned off by the gay hints and references because they aren't really a big deal and are part of the comedy. Just sit back, enjoy the show and prepare to laugh a lot.
