Project 365 ~ Because I Greatly Disapprove
So, while watching 'Thor' last night in the theatres, they played this ad prior to the showing:
I greatly disapprove and frown on it. Call me jealous/bitter/cynical/feminist/overreacting/whatever, but doesn't anybody find this ad wrong? I mean:
Are they nuts? Replacing two meals a day for two whole weeks??? Do we not have enough girls with self-esteem issues? Now you're telling them that they SHOULD lose more weight just to fit into those god-damn jeans when there's nothing wrong with them to begin with???
So you're saying, "Yep, you're fat just like this girl in this ad even though she's perfectly healthy and fine from the start. Now, go lose weight you fatso! Those jeans are calling out to you! STUFF YOUR FACE WITH CEREAL!!!"
I have a suspicion some may take this a little too literal and eat nothing but this cereal (or any other cheaper cereal if you can't afford this expensive "food supplement") for all their meals and for more than just two weeks.
