Back from Sunnyvale / San Jose....
Interesting last few days and unfortunately 4 people from LJ have have shown their true colors.
One of 4 Live Journal folks to do a no show/no contact was Robert McDiarmid aka Low_Fat-Muffin. To top it off, he took me off his friends list; without a word or reason why (only found out tonight). Guess the $50 I donated to his AIDS Ride wasn't enough to be in his circle of acquaintances or maybe I'm not important enough......who knows.....who cares..........
The other three scheduled people did a no-show at a Bear Brunch and a Bear Dinner; my host (Jerry) who knew two of the three couldn't explain why they didn't respond to his text messages or calls. He sent more messages despite my asking him not to bother, and as of this missive at 10:22 PM, they have not replied.
All four have been removed from my LJ list; You reap what you sow, hope it was worth it.
Sign me Disgusted.......a little hurt but truly disgusted.
Oh well, time for some sleep; plane lifts off at 8:40 am; see you in late September until early October California.
