life goes on
Blair's deployed for the last time. He left Nov 2nd for the Mediterrean Sea side of the Suez Canal. Pray his ship will not have to go through the Canal to the Persian Gulf on this deployment. He should be back home by the end of May '08. And then a few short months after that he'll complete his 4 yr active duty commitment. I can't believe his tour of duty is almost up...man, time flies.
Next week, Terri, Paden, Julie and my mom meet up in NYC to celebrate Thanksgiving. I can't wait. We're gonna have a blast. We'll get to see a bit of the Macy's day parade, we're going to see the Dave Brubeck Quartet at BB King's Blues club on 42nd street, we're going to see the new Mel Brooks Broadway musical "Young Frankenstein", we're going to the Rembrandt exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art...and we're gonna go see the Statue of Liberty...it'll be a whirlwind tour. Like I said before...I can't wait!
