Females in SW Houston area, please be aware...
So I have NEVER gone to the gynocologist (sp?) office before..and I have found the rudest people EVER to work at a doctor's office. They accused me of some wrongdoing..and they called my health insurance (BCBS-good service btw) agents liars. That's all this is really about:
the office number: 281-558-2737 <-------------------- this office number is the devil. Serious!
1. They accused me of purposely giving out wrong insurance information, which I didn't; they mistyped the numbers.
2. They accused me of not picking up the phone and waiting it out; apparently my CELL PHONE does not have a voice-mail and she said she's been waiting for 15 minutes for me to pick up my cell.
3. They accused me of falsifying information; I do TOO have a grace period in which I can use my information even though my insurance coverage is terminated since I just turned 22. According to them, they talked to my insurance provider and I do NOT have a grace period; I called back and was confirmed that I, indeed DO have a grace period. My provider was gracious enough to call THEM back, while I was on hold. It took her 15 minutes...in which she advised me NOT to use these people b/c they were plain rude to her, yelled at her, and called her a liar. My provider told THEM to call back and actually SPEAK to another representative instead of the AUTOMATIC teller in which case then to reschedule my appointment for the scheduled date (which is in 2 days). Those two bitchy ladies said alright and hanged up on her.
3. I haven't heard from them, it's been two hours.
4. I found another office to go to after an hour and a half of calling; last minute office visits are a bitch to find.
So, PLEASE, if you are indeed in the SW Houston area, do NOT go to these people; they're worse than bank tellers (no offense to some of you guys, although you must admit there are some rude ass people). I do not doubt that Matti Korhonen is a good doctor; she's probably really good, but her assistants are HORRIBLE. I am TRYING to save you from grief that I had to handle, especially when I'm under emotional duress; one of my exes sorta died in my bedroom (officially died in a hospital) 3 years ago, and today is his birthday. He would be 24 today. He's very special to me, and I love his family like they are my own.
