WASHINGTON, DC-Government documents declassified today reveal that President Bush was briefed last summer of "a substantial risk" that Vice President Dick Cheney would shoot an elderly male in the face sometime in the next several months...
Normally, here I'd put something about finding the situation funny but feeling bad for the guy that got shot in the face, but this particular guy was hunting, so I'm sort of inclined to say that he deserved it. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's okay, but if you get shot while trying to kill wild animals so you can put their heads on a wall...yeah, my sympathy only goes so far. That's sort of like getting a perineal tear while delivering a baby in a dumpster and then leaving the baby there.
