A much needed update...
So, much has happened recently. My job has been going rather well. It was discussed that I might be promoted up several levels all at once in the next couple of weeks but I don't think that will happen. It looks more like I will have to settle for the regular old one-level-at-a-time style of promotion that "traditional" people seem to rely on. Either way I will be promoted quite soon. Also, they are sending me to Pennsylvania for a day in a couple weeks to go learn about our distribution hub and stuff like that. Then in the end of October they are sending me to freakin Minnesota for 2 freakin weeks to learn all sorts of shit at the corporate headquarters. But that should be good for me I suppose. Anyway, I will try to keep all of you regularly updated.
Also new, is the addition of a small furry creature to my apartment. I have adopted a ferret from a friend of Jen's. He is small. He is furry. He entertains me with amusing tricks. He smells a little funny, but you kinda have to take the good with the bad.
My next plan is to slowly train him to emulate the ferret from The Big Lebowski. I have all the supplies, you know, a ferret and a leash. Now I just have to train him to viciously attack people. Again, I will keep you all updated.
