Update

Good news! My second CT scan, which I had taken two weeks ago, has been received and accepted by the surgeon in London!

The engineer will be by next week to take a sample from it and begin manufacturing the mesh, and once that's begun I can lock down a surgery date.

Things are finally progressing forward to where I'll have some concrete plans about when this is all happening. I can tell this is going to be a good weekend already, as I have one less major thing to worry about.

I'm really looking forward to this all being done and being able to be active again. I was starting to get back into being active right when I got this diagnosis, and it's been frustrating not being able to go to the gym like I was, and not being able to play DDR, as I was starting to get good at it again.

Here's to a summer where I've recovered and can do things again without fear!

Once, you know, I've gotten past all the bone breaking and healing and days of pain, but hey, they'll all be worth it to know I've got this taken care of for the rest of my life.
