Tobacco: Connecting,Communing,Creating

Tobacco has long been and still is among some a sacred herb. That is what it is to me. Its sacredness is not diminished by its abuse.

I smoke one cigarette a day, sometimes two on the weekends. What I smoke is natural, chemical free, organic tobacco. Smoking is a sacred rite to me. When I smoke I enter an altered state, a unitive experience in which I feel my connectedness with all that is. It is a state in which I can either simply commune and be with all that is or do creative energy work to manifest my will.

Tobacco’s gift to me is its ability to help me feel my connectedness with all. I think that it is sad that this sacred herb has been so disrespected, abused, exploited and now demonized in our consumer economy.
