I absolutely covet
Rosetta Stone's language learning software. I've heard it's by far the most effective way to learn to speak another language. I decided to look into their French CDs as I used to love French and have gotten reeeally rusty in it since I haven't taken any courses in years. I looked up Rosetta Stone and it's $500 for 3 CDs and books!!! While reviews are astounding as to how this software is amazing, I really wonder what gives them the right to charge so much for something so...not worth it. Yes, it's amazing, but wouldn't it be better to lower the price and thus have more people expand their knowledge of the world?
I don't think I can every justify it to myself to spend so much money on a product, even if it will help me be fluent in another language. /cry
