Sigh
Well..today was a total bust. :-(
John picked me up and we fought the traffic out to VSL to pick up the Passover boxes for me and my neighbour. Unfortunately, neither of us noticed that the pickup time is 5-8pm! Are they insane??? Trying to get to VSL between 5 and 7pm is stupid.
So..no Passover box for either of us. Sometime before Sunday, I will get to IGA to pick up some of the necessaries and I'll make the brisket, I'll get some up to my neighbour as well. It's a sad state of affairs when there are no volunteers to deliver these things, especially as it's for people who can't afford to make Passover without help. The stupid is that most of these people are either too handicapped or poor to go to the depot. So much for the *taking care of our own* BS. I guess it only works if you don't have to actually put yourself out. :-(
No packing and my realtor didn't have any good news for me today either. :-(
