"Have you ever gone to bed at night, and woken up in the morning?" "Oh man!! I got that!!"

Well everybody, Hello Hello!!

So it's been a little while since I've given an actual update, and a fair amount of stuff has happened since then, some of which I'm choosing not to talk about, because 1) I don't think anyone reads this this anyway (besides Marina - I <3 You!), and 2) Even if you do read it, I don't want to bother anybody with my shit, because I know everyone has their own to deal with. In light of that, this entry is going to be done in bullet-form, to make it as brief yet as comprehensive as possible :D

Now, let's see.....

♥ I took Ewan to an ASCA show out in Racine, Wisconsin a couple weekends ago. I didn't end up showing him, but I learned alot from his breeder and others. ♥ While he was there, Ewan got his ears, pads, and tail trimmed, so now

Look at that handsome face!

He's a little over 4 months old now - He's getting so big!

♥ To continue with events that involve dogs, I will be attending the IKC Dog Show/Expo thing at the McCormick Center this Saturday. If you like dogs, I suggest you come along!! It's awesome! Confirmation! Agility! Obedience! Specialty vendors! Oh, and don't forget - PUPPIES!! It's a good time :D

♥ I will also be attending the Chicago Wolves game on Saturday along with other volunteers from DVA (DePaul Voices for the Animals). We will have dogs that are in need of adopting, so if you're interested, come on over!!

♥ I registered for Spring Quarter last Thursday, and my schedule looks like this:
M/W/F 1:10 - 2:10; Gods & Goddesses in the Greek and Roman World; Prof. Ward
M/W 3:30 - 5:00; Focal Point; Prof. Furman
T/Th 11:50 - 1:20; Quantitative Reasoning; Prof. White
T/Th 3:10 - 4:40; Abnormal Psychology; Prof. Robinson

All in all I think it will be a good semester, even though I get out of class relatively late on both days. It's just something I'll have to adjust to. But at the very least, in the Spring Quarter, when I come home at 5:00 there should still be sunlight outside!!

♥ Incase you haven't already heard, my rat, Ginger, had 14 babies on Valentine's Day!! I knew she was pregnant, but didn't think she'd deliver for at least another week. But, Valentine's morning, there was much squeaking to be heard in Ginger's nest! Right now they're 6 days old (but I'm sure you all could have done that math on your own), but in the pictures I'm posting, they're 4 days old....

This is a close-up of one of them when they were just a few hours old. This is for comparison... They've gotten much bigger now, and I've been able to sex them...

We have 9 girls...

And 5 boys...

I also thought it would be neat to separate them into different color categories, so, here are those...

There are 6 "Light" babies....

3 "Dark" babies...

2 "Blazed" babies...

And 3 "Funky" babies, LoL...

I think they're the greatest little things in the world, and I can't wait to watch them grow! I hope at least some of the "Light" babies look like their momma...

Oh, and while I'm at it, this is just cute:

I love my kitties!! Especially my pretty miss Kennedy... She looks like she's posing :o) I can't believe when we first got them they weren't any bigger than Ginger! Now look at them! Fat Fats, all of them!! :D

♥ Caitlyn's rat, Milly, also completely unexpectedly had babies two nights ago! There are only 5 of them, but that brings the total baby-count to 19! It's madness! :D

♥ For Valentine's Day, Marcelo got me some jewelry that I've really wanted for a good month now, and no, it's not your standard Valentine's Day jewelry. It's pawprint-themed jewelry from a website that I found, and I absolutely LOVE it! I have a silver heart pendant with a little pawprint dangling in the middle of the heart, a pair of pawprint stud earrings, and a ring that is just a band of pawprints. It's wonderful. It means a lot to me because, of course, the pawprints represent my animals and my love for them, and I was so happy that Marcelo got them for me. I didn't get a card, though >:o(

♥ As for my gift to Marcelo, we went to see 'MacBeth' at the Shakespeare Theater at Navy Pier. I could not have forseen when I bought the tickets that the day that we went would be officially the coldest day of the season... Needless to say, we froze our asses off being by the lake, but it was a GREAT play! I've never read it, but I loved it anyway. I hope 'Othello' comes soon!

♥ I finally decided what I'm doing for my birthday! I'm renting a couple of hotel rooms, and our time there will be spent swimming, playing board games, watching movies, eating pizza, and messing around with people in the elevators ;o) One day during the day, I want to go to a forest preserve or a park somewhere and either picnic or barbeque, and play some volleyball and Frisbee.

♥ The current list of guests attending this party is as follows, LoL: Myself (obviously), Marcelo, John, Chris <, Chris >, Marissa, Tony, Kenny and Lyanna. This should be good, except for the fact that Marissa was continually asking me about who would be sleeping where, if it would be girls in one room, guys in the other (which it will NOT be), etc. etc. I'm a little worried about her being able to handle being around us for two days, but if she doesn't like it, she can take a taxi home!!

♥ I'm too lazy to do it now, but be on the lookout for a poll regarding what Ewan's AKC registry name should be. I have it narrowed down to a few, but I need some help deciding!

Well, that's all I can think of to say for now. I'm sure there's much more that I haven't mentioned or thought of mentioning, but for now, this is the best you're gonna get! If I think of anything else, I'll come back and edit it, but for now, G'nite!
