As much as I love my country, it annoys me on how some people simply refuse to use their mental faculties.
Take some of my customers here in the shop for instance. Since I am tired of explaining to these people about SSS's new policy on getting their static information and loan status online, I had actually printed out this notice that states "FOR SSS ONLINE INQUIRIES: PAKI-UNAWA PO NA KAILANGAN ANG INYONG SBR NUMBER BAGO MAKUHA ANG INYONG STATIC INFO / LOAN STATUS / ETC. SALAMAT PO SA PAG-UNAWA. - SENSHU NET & GAMES CAFE"
It's in Tagalog and in BOLD print. And it's strategically placed at the stairwell leading to the shop AND in the shop's glass door. It's not hard to understand, right?
This male customer gives me attitude yesterday and says that he has the E1 form. I explain to him that he needs the RS5 form in order to register at SSS. Then he still insists that all he needs is the E1 form.
I got irritated with him and told him "Sir, may nakalagay na po sa pinto and sa may hagdanan. Paki-basa na lang po." (Sir, there's a notice posted on the door and near the stairs. Please read it.)
Moron slams the shop's door shut.
Perhaps if 4 out of 5 Filipinos would actually TRY using their god-given brain cells, the Philippines would be a better place.
