Character Name: Freudia Neuwahl
Series: RosenkreuzStilette
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Species: Human
Sexuality: Straight
Appearance: Freudia has red eyes, pale skin, and naturally white hair, all to fit the snow motif. Her hair is tied up in a ponytail with a red ribbon; it (the hair, not the ribbon) usually defies physics, but not always. (It's probably just a lot of hair spray.) Normally, she wears elbow-length gloves, a strapless dress, and heels, all white. Her dress has a blood-red crucifix emblazoned on the front, at the lower left.
Personality: She is not, as it turns out, an ice cold bitch; in fact, she can be pretty friendly once you get to know her (and if you can tolerate her). She won't exactly go out looking for friendship, but she's no loner and understands the importance of strength in numbers. Even at home, in times of trouble, she held the belief "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" above nearly everything. When it comes to fighting, she's smart enough to know when to back off if she's overwhelmed. She also enjoys creating friendly rivalries with people who are willing and meet her expectations. In general, she's fairly intelligent, if occasionally pigheaded. And since she spent most of her life in a castle being treated like one of the most special snowflakes in the world, she's kind of prissy.
Abilities: In her home world, she has the ability to control ice, which she normally manifests as a stream of ice shards that she calls the Freuden Stachel. Additional abilities include the creation of up to four temporary, illusory, and fully functional copies of herself, as well as limited telekinesis that allows her to hover a few feet above the ground. In Manhattan, however, her Freuden Stachel no longer works and in fact her control over ice is diminished to the point where it would be a strain to cool a drink. Her telekinesis is similarly affected, removing her ability to hover and leaving her only able to create one copy of herself that could probably only be used as a decoy for a few seconds.
Weaknesses: Without the Freuden Stachel, she's more or less defenseless. She's never been in a fistfight and wouldn't know the first thing about guns. Given her frame and build, it would be more trouble than it's worth to try to teach her the finer arts of either; basically, fighting in more mundane ways is out of the question. Also, if she develops a real rivalry with someone, it's very unlikely that she'll back down until one of them comes out the victor, regardless of the cost.
Manhattanite or outsider? Outsider, born in a place that resembles but is not the same as medieval Germany. The most obvious difference is that she speaks English.
History: Freudia wasn't born in Castle Sepperin, but she was left there at an early age when her powers first manifested. Michael Sepperin, the ruling count, kept close watch over her as other girls with similar abilities trickled in. These girls were known as Magi, and they soon became Freudia's closest friends. One in particular, Spiritia Rosenberg, had a special relationship with Freudia; since Spiritia was the only one there before her, the two of them had the most time to get to know each other. The two developed a strong friendship and a playful rivalry (mostly instigated by Freudia) over 14 years, until the last Magi arrived. At that point, Sepperin annouced that he planned to conquer the world with the powers of the nine girls combined. Freudia raised no protest, but Spiritia defected, not wanting to support something evil. Before Freudia had time to grieve, Sepperin sent her to a remote peak to gain control of that area. In preparation for the inevitable arrival of her old friend, Freudia (with help from Sepperin's daughter, Iris) built up an elaborate stage to test her. She should have been waiting at the summit when Spiritia arrived. She wasn't.
