Summary: Sometimes violence is a good thing.

Harry was on his knees in front of Draco. A perfect drop of crimson oozed from the cut on his lip and the bruise rising on his cheekbone was going to be spectacular.

“Had enough, Potter?” Draco sneered at him, exhilarated by the physical contact of their brawl. He never imagined the feel of his knuckles mashing Harry’s lips into his teeth would be so satisfying.

“ Not quite,” Harry managed to spit out around his swelling lip. he moved to stand, but Draco wrapped his fist into the messy, black mop.

“Here, let me give you a hand,” he hissed. As he tugged Harry’s head back, he caught a flash of green fire in Harry’s eyes. Surprised by the heat, he loosened his hold slightly. This was just what Harry needed. He sprang forward into Draco’s legs, knocking him off his feet.

Draco heard his head crack against the stone floor. He felt Harry slither up his body and come to rest just above his hips, his hands on Draco’s shoulders. The pounding in his head and the weight of the other boy effectively pinning him to the floor. Draco squeezed his eyes shut, waiting for the blow he was sure would come. After a few seconds, he relaxed his face and peeked at Potter through his lashes.

Harry was staring at him in a way that made Draco feel like the last treacle tart on earth.

“What the hell are you looking at?” Draco gasped. He tried to sound haughty, but a whine was all that escaped his lips.

“So perfect,” Harry grinned as he raised a hand to Draco’s face and trailed his fingertips down his cheekbone and across his trembling lips. Draco tried to slap the hand away, but Harry caught his wrist.

“Get off of me, you freak!”

Draco began to squirm, seeking some kind of leverage to throw the boy off, but the struggle only made the contact between them more intimate. Draco gasped and went still. His mind raced, trying to figure how he had so completely lost control of the situation.

All thoughts fled as he felt Harry catch up his other wrist and pin both his hands to the floor by his head. He realized Harry’s face was inches from his, the look in the emerald eyes gone slightly unfocused. Draco stiffened in shock.

“What the…”

“Shhh…” Harry whispered.

Draco closed his eyes again, but he could still see those green eyes behind his lids.

“This is not happening,” he thought, “Harry Potter is not about to kiss me.”

He could feel the warmth of Harry’s breath on his lips and turned his face away. He heard a soft chuckle as Harry began placing soft kisses along his jaw. With a quiet sigh, he turned his face back and met Harry’s mouth with his.

With a soft groan, Draco parted his lips and Harry deepened the kiss, plunging his tongue into Draco's mouth. Draco tried to meet the kiss, but was unable to move his head more then a fraction from the floor. At the slight movement, Harry growled deep in his throat and increased his attack on Draco’s mouth. After what seemed an eternity, Harry broke the kiss, released Draco’s wrists and slid off his body. Draco slowly opened his eyes to see Harry gazing at him with a slight smirk.

“Now I’ve had enough, Draco.” He levered himself up from the floor and walked swiftly down the corridor.

Draco slowly sat up, touched his swollen lips with his fingers and stared after the other boy.

“I think I’m going to have to hit him again.”

A/N: Written for enchanted_jae's Monthly Challenge #2, prompt: Harry was on his knees in front of Draco. This is my first fan fic and the first thing I've written in years. Concrit is welcome, but not too rough, K? I don't have a beta, but my mom did look it over and gave me a few suggestions. (you read that right, I made the mistake of introducing my mom to slash.)

h/d, first
