Livin for the weekend
Had an average week, work continues to be brutal... I keep fixin that bloody pedal and it keeps bloody skitzing out, it's startin ta make me look bad. I think the wirin's shot, I might have ta take it apart and replace em if I get the time/can't convince Eric ta just pack it in an get a new one.
ANYWAY, my weekend was lightyears better, I uh, went out with Sashpants on Saturday. She surprised me, took me ta see the Hypercomics exhibition which, to be blunt, was fuckin amazin. Basically it was like a walk-in comic... it was sorta like steppin inside a Gaiman comic really, the arwork deffo reminded me of the covers of the Sandman series. I swear Didge, you just know me too well already :P It was grouse and dinner too, but it helps when you have such attractive company... I think you one-upped me on location, chicka, I'll have to try harder next time (although yours coulda had more mirrors, I thought :P)
We snapped some sneaky pics, have a squizz. Weren't technically supposed to take the camera in, so.. ya know, keep it to yerselves ;)
Streuuuuth, how'd that get in there? Hummm....... ;)
Also, went for an interview at the London zoo for a second job, (which I've been pokin around for for a few weeks now seein as I ain't makin enough quick enough for the stuff I want ta get done) as they're expanding the Australian exhibits and they've just sent my time schedule so I'm guessin that means I've got the part, haha. I'll be doin guide tours through the aussie enclosures and feedin demonstrations with the crocs on the weekends and then more on school holidays. I'm lookin foreword to this gig a whole lot, I really miss workin with animals. You guys should come see the magic sometime, worst that could happen is you'll get to see me eaten by crocs and most'd say that's a pretty good time :P
Seems like eveyone's having a much better one this week, which is bonzer, it's been a bit hecers lately, eh?
