Congrats on Radford! It's supposed to be a fun school, but it's in a shithole town. Kristie goes there and she said the only thing they have close is a 7-11, bank, and ice cream parlor. Like there's nothing. But you can always find parties at any school, or create your own. It's also smaller, but a lot of people like that.
I don't recommend staying home and then transfering. Living on campus your first year is how you will make most of your best friends in school. It's harder to meet people in classes and stuff because they're so large. But you meet tons of great people living on campus. That's where I met almost everyone I know. Once people move off campus, they already have their friends and don't spend as much time trying to make new ones. Just something to think about.
You'll learn not to get nervous by cops over time too. We deal with them every day, and now we just try to think of fun new things to tell them.
Love ya Trentie!
