Merlin 2x04 reaction post
Okay, there's historical inaccuracy, there's anachronistic silk and corn and so on, but this is getting RIDICULOUS, Merlin writers!
Seriously. Just, seriously.
Actually, I scoffed and laughed through most of this ep. Arthur's sudden undying love for Gwen is almost as ridiculous as Hengist's cans. I did like Lancelot/Gwen, though that haircut makes him look about ten years older than everyone. I also loved Merlin, though I'm hoping he'll be able to accomplish something better than Comedic Relief next time. Also, evidently ninja skills are a common trait in the Merlin!verse. First there was Myror with his mad assassin skills, scaling the freaking tower like it's nothing, and now there are Arthur and Merlin doing the same. Without magic, even.
