Well, I had a good day! ;] We went to the park this afternoon. I had tried to buy some bread at a drug store on the way, but none of the workers could seem to figure out where their bread was. Niiiice. Needless to say, I didn't end up getting any. So, we got there and were showing Seth the ducks, and Rick walks up with a nearly full bag of bread. While we were there, we found about 3 1/2 loaves of bread, so I think we had some happy ducks and geese! Apparently, stuffing the birds full of carbs is the thing to do around here. There were Chex Mix, bread crumbs, potato chips, etc everyyywhere. Anyway, I think they ended up getting annoyed with me. [Not the ducks, the in-laws. ;)] Not sure. But, at one point, they just wandered off. 100 ducks + 3 1/2 loaves of bread = Alicia entertained for hooours! I'm still such a little kid, and I've been realizing it a lot lately. I secretly want my next child to be a girl so that I can play with her My Little Ponies and Barbies. Shhh! ;]
So, tomorrow, we're going to Amish country. For whatever reason, they are intrigued by the thought. I think they're going to be a little disappointed, though, because, with the time of year and all, all the cool things are closed. There are a couple cool, little restored Indian villages right around that area, but they don't open for tours until May. We'll see how it goes. We'll find something to do.
We've been using an air mattress for the past couple nights, and it's still hard to adjust to not having 5+pillows and 3+blankets piled on top of me. Chris calls it my "mountain". It's so comfortable, though. It feels like sleeping on a cloud. I miss my beddd! Oh well. I'm survivin'. ;]
