just one of those days...
some days it seems that nothing wants to function properly. for example, my computer mouse. after being moved to 5 different apartments, my mouse finally broke. so i went to walmart and bought a new wireless mouse, which decided to work for 5 minutes and then quit. (i love how you have to click on Troubleshooting...especially when your mouse doesn't move!) so i run back to the store to exchange it, and by this time i'm starving and CRANKY. in the words of my friend Dan: "Hell hath no fury like a hungry woman." i picked out a standard 3-button HP mouse, and if it decides to test my temper today too, then the whole computer is getting thrown in the pool!!!
the new apt is ok. nothing special. it's just in a nicer complex than my last one, and therefore i am less afraid of getting mugged, raped, or an insect infestation. Mere and Allie came over last night, and visitors are always nice. like i said, nothing spectacular.
