I'm back home in Vegas. It's been over 105 every day since I came home. A nice welcome back. I've been swimming with my son everyday.
I just received my letter of acceptance from the UNLV Nursing program so it's official... I'm in. No surprise, I met all the requirements, but with the few slots they have for the number of applicants it's nice to have a secured spot.
The last year since getting off the deployment has been pretty crazy, but everything is coming together the way I had hoped it would. Amber is well. A new corporation just took over the grant she works under. She thinks that there will be some changes at her job in the upcoming months. And the cruise is coming up.
