Me n Buppie, 5 months together!

This is Kenneth Updegraff, aka, Ken or Bup and Me. 2 weeks ago. A few days after I chopped off the long 18 inches of hair that was down my back for almost 4 yrs. lol
We have been together for almost 6 months. But we've been best friends for almost 2 yrs. I found him out of luck. He's 38, has a 7 yr old little boy named Larrs to his ex-girlfriend Ashley, whom he broke up with only 3 months before we met. We first met over at Scott Adam's and Telisha Sneeringer's old apt over on C st in Hanover. He only started hanging out there after Ashley and him broke up, which was also when I had also just met Tish n Scott. For the first year he was constantly trying to woo me into his arms, showing me how much he loved and wanted to be with me, but i continued to resist. I was dumb and confused which caused me to keep making stupid mistakes and even crashed my car into a telephone pole and almost died, which also cost me a DUI. Coincidentally the same night, Halloween, 10 yrs ago, he and his brother had also almost lost their lives, bc of stupidity. His brother Willi was driving 100 mph down 94 just past the tropical treat, they went airborne, crashed into a fence which ripped the floorboards out, causing Bup's legs to be pulled underneath the vehicle and rip n drag them to shreds. Willi and Bup both suffered ciritcal injuries to their femurs. Ken had broken all the bones in both legs, had an open box break of his hips, broke a few ribs, and was a bleed out. He was pronounced dead at the scene when the medical examiner got there, but then was fortunately able to find a pulse. He was mangled and technically almost died 3 times. He now has bars and bolts all throughout his legs and they still are scarred and chewed. He had to learn to walk n talk again. I thank god everyday for his life. I also found out that 20 yrs ago, we both lived within 2 blocks from each other at a trailer park in Abbottstown, called Beaver Creek Village. Some may think its just mere coincidence but i truly believe its destiny. Finally about 6 months ago I realized he was the one for me and told him "i must see you, immediately". We hooked up that night on his break and have been together since. He is the reason why I now count everyday as a blessing. He is beautiful inside, and out. The age difference doesn't even exist really because he's so young and youthful at heart and also physically. He's strong and muscular, works hard, and I guess maybe because of his accident he still seems to have the maturity level as someone in their 20s. He's fun and spontaneous, sweet and caring, a perfect gentleman! We have so many things in common including our hobbies, goals and ambitions, and also we share musical and artistic interests. Because of him, I sought treatment and have been sober for almost 50 days. I don't want nor ever plan to ever use Heroin again. I have finally realized what I love about my sober life. I am naturally high just because of the beauty in this world. I apologize to all i have hurt or neglected because of my addiction and I promise it will never happen again. I have rearranged my life and cleaned out all the "trash". I threw away my cell and got a new number. I don't socialize with any of the same people that i have for the past yr except for my love.
on Christmas night he purposed to me and we have set the date for just under 1 yr later, December 20th, 2009 at 5:00 PM. We will voice our traditional vows to each other over candlelight and beautiful music in front of all our friends and loved ones. I hope that everyone i know and love will be able to witness.
I cant believe how happy I am finally. I am in love and it is wonderful. I thank god for every single day. Bup you are my dream come true.
