today boyfriend told me that his love for me is denser than a black hole. rock.
for the past week there have been banners up all around campus of a hot korean guy singing into a microphone really intensely and passionately (i like to think he is singing the last line of the camp song) for his show on campus. i've been pretty pumped about it but didn't think i could go but last night after the teachers meeting patti and i found out he was still on stage and we ran over to the concert hall and busted through the back doors to come in on a fucking amazing light show(!!!!!) and a really rocking song and the energy was everywhere and i was so pumped and the guy is so hot and hilarious and passionate "YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and dancing and the light show was the second best i've seen, second to Belle and Sebastian. Just many colors, classy not trashy, and at times all the lights and all the seperate beams from those lights would morph hotpink, fuscia, violet, forest green, sea green, baby blue, light orange, red to white and they would all come together on the center of the stage to illuminate THE GUY. i bet if i knew what the guy was singing about i would swoon.
after 2 really rocking songs he made a few jokes to the crowd and took it down a few notches with some slow songs. the chorus of one of them was something about 'goodbye good friend' or something and he held his water bottle in his hand the entire time. patti and i surmised that it was about a good friend who dehydrated on jeju island. patti has an autographed copy. rock.
later, a korean TA told us that The Guy has a song called 'a human is more beautiful than a flower.' track 10, disc 2. rock.
