Goddammit.
Looking back on this summer, which is pretty much over, it's been great. Really, really great.
Swimming at the dock with Ian and then John, swimming out on the boat with Alex down the KP, sitting out on the dock for 5 hours talking about every guy at Peninsula, having Alisa and/or Alex spend the night all the time, or spending the night at their houses, movie night at Zach's house, going out to see so so many movies, having bonfires down at the beach, swimming at midnight at one bonfire in the bay when Jesse and Ian swam naked, spending so much time at Jesse's house, going to the Y in the morning routine and then to Jamba with Jesse, getting a job, succeding in it, skimming in Port Orchard with Jesse and Ian and then freestyling all the way back, or just skimming down at the spit, swimming out on Cresent Lake numerous times, going down to California, seeing Slightly Stoopid & Pepper, going to the fiesta and parade, swimming day in and day out in the grandparent's pool, shopping in Santa Barbara, going to the beach, going to the park to play frisbee with john jesse and alex, sitting outside awin's house in the burning heat, meeting henry and joey, having mills-moore family dinners featuring christian, camping with zach and alex at mt. rainier, going with Naomi to hang out with all her army friends, baking a 6-stick butter artery-clogging cake, watching pineapple express x2, seeing dark knight x2, wanted, hancock, ironman, mama mia, going to ben & jerry's after the movies, walking around uptown before them and going into borders and jamba for deep talks about life, watching jesse, zach, tony and john try to float across the spit, leaving for the first day of work and then getting off to see them in the lobby, then walking around everywhere with jesse talking about our pasts, then going to the spot for the best sunset ever, sitting on ian's geo roof with jesse, having a small fire at the beach and just discussing astronomy, going to mcdonalds at eleven at night, sitting on kev's patio into the night, shopping at the southcenter mall with naomi and alisa, a great 4th of july party at alex's...
I don't know man. It's been an awesome two months. And I still have a little over a week left! I'm making the best of it!
Today was awesomeee. Hung out with Jeff Helen. and Sarah Hiraki, then with Jesse and Alex, when we went to Tony Lewis' birthday party! He's so great. It was a little odd sometimes, with people like Evan Mitchell, Whitney Young and Matt Brown there, but it was a lot of fun. Afterwards, we went back to Jesse's house, and I just sat outside with Jesse on his pavement looking at the stars and having deep talks about everything for an hour. It was really great.
Life's good.
Be ambitious. Be willing to try anything, and live life loving everything. Don't try to find out who you are, just do what you like, try what you don't know, and get to know a little sense of self.
