Christmas time is here, everyone, ready or not. And the puppies and kittens are baaaaaack!! No longer in Gump's but Macy's, outside the windows of which I was molested by a random-dirty-old-man-stranger downtown. And as the tradition goes, lots of things change during Christmas time - people do things they wouldn't normally do. Like me. I, believe it not or don't believe it, cantored the responsorial psalm all on my lonesome at last week's FML, which may just turn out to be the last of 2004. Yes, and even if it's not, they are currently ripping out all the cheesey 70s wood paneling in Orradre as I write...or well they really probably aren't because it's 8:37 pm. Not the point. Things are changing. I wonder if the Galvins know that Orradre will not look the same when their bells on the hill go ringing about in spring. (Jeff, Greg?) At any rate, I was indeed picked to direct a one-act (woot woot)- but then again, Bauman lost all creativity this year and just kept all eight kids who were interested and called on Peter D. to help him out - and I was informed today that Button came back from college...fat. (Again, Greg, Jeff?) Anyway, nothing too exciting. Except that I'm a total liar - I made up that whole thing about the Christmas tradition, if you couldn't see through the thick pile of bullshit I dropped on the computer screen. Sorry for the mess. Now, I'm off to more English and Xmas mix-in' it. Track list coming soon. Of course, it can't compete with Greg's compilation, better known as "Brown Paper Packages: A Few of My Favorite Christmas Things." Well, sorry to lead such an effing boring and useless life, everyone. Maybe next time I post, it'll be something interesting. But don't bet your Hanukkah money on it.
"Oh, Hanukkah, Oh, Hanukkah, the sweet celebration..."
