we're back
so this was pretty much the best week ever....and the most hecktic day of all time.
so our trip was absolutly amazing, it was beautiful, blue skies (even though everyone said it was goin to be raining) cities were glorious, shows were fantastic, the other bands were great, our hosts were fantastic, except for when we had to sleep in the van in Eugene OR. i couldnt have asked for more. it was great...... and then....dun dun dun
our van exploded into flames on our way back from Olympia WA.
the van died and when i got out to open the hood and look it burst into flames and the engine caughed on fire. i almost lost my face.
we we emptied the van like youve never seen before and watched it burn. its a really long story what happened next and if you want to know you can ask.. but long story short, alex and I slummed it on the mean streets of oregon while larry and russell fought off the crazies at the grey hound station. ditched the van, walked over the river to find the crew, caughed a 14 hour bus ride from portland to sacramento then delt with gnarly rain for the 6 hour drive home from there.
oh...and non of us have showered in over a week while on tour. we rock
all in all.....best weeke ever.
