<3 USEP Organization Day + DAMNation Orientation <3
Ow yeah.
Organization Day, held last August 6, 2010 is the day where all students gather in the centerstage/grounds to get themselves affiliated in a club where their interests and likes are exhibited. :D
It was the day our anime club, DAMNation, was looking forward to. :D
Prior to the event, we posted a poster to attract otakus. I know there are many out there in our school who have passion for anime. And this is their calling. XD
Many have responded to the invite, and very anxious and excited for the org day to come. The officers were suuppeeer excited too. :D
So, when the day came.. KABAAAM!!!!
COSPLAY!!!! XXDD
It was a blast!!! LOL
The star for that day was actually CONAN-KUN!!! LOL. Here and there he was soo popular, that every minute he was dragged for picture taking. LOL!!! Kudos to you, Kuya Chad!!! LOL.
I was also a little frustrated because many people mistook me as "Sailor Moon". I WAS NOT COSPLAYING HER!!! I was actually Ruriko Ikusawa from Gatekeepers. Blame it to the uniform. Waaahh. I guess I should have finished my bow and arrow after all. Waaahhh. (I think there will be not much of a difference. I'll still be called Sailor Moon, I guess. :C)
Many signed-up and joined the club, and we invited them for the orientation at the CED-AVR. :DD
And to our surprise, many came!!! *overwhelmed*
The orientation was suuppeeer enjoyable. We had various presentations. I was one of the suuppeeer unready MC for the orientation, and together with Ate Floe and some help from Bucho, I think it went out ok. :D
Me, Kuya Chad, and Monique performed "Zutto Kimi Ni Soba De" (Throughout and Close To You) from Flame of Recca (ending song). I suuppeeer loved that song, and it's a good thing that Kuya Chad approved of it. And Monique joined as the "Alto" singer. LOL. It was an epic fail at first, with the guitar not on tune and all, but it went out ok on the next try. :D
Me and my sister also performed EXILE's "I Believe"!!!! Wahahaha!!!! I suuppeeer loved it and I think the shinmais loved it too because of the upbeat feel to it. LOL. Initially, we opted to sing "Futatsu No Kuchibiru", but we haven't mastered it yet. And when we performed, we forgot out props at the OCC office!!! *epic fail* LOL. But it was ok though. :D
During the course of the activity, there were parts where pur Bucho explained what DAMNation is all about, the officers, activities inside the org, cosplay, team building, membership hierarchy and such. We also had some games (name the tune, most of the time, haven't prepared much).
The Triple J!!! LOL. They were like, Waaaahh!!! They were really SUPAH. MAJOR MAJOR. LOL. Keep it up, Triple J!!!! Looking forward for the next performance!!!! :DD
The officers also had a dance number!!! LOL. It was suuppeeer fun!!!! Himeka and the others dancing!!! I thought it was impossible!!! Waaaahh!!!! :DDD They danced to the tune of mix k-pop, j-pop and anime songs. Waaaahh!!!

All in all, it was a suuppeeer great and enjoyable day. MAJOR MAJOR!!!! LOL.
I know we are really not suuppeer professional cosplayers. Weheheh. Even though our cosplays are somewhat amateurish, but what's important is that we enjoyed it. A LOT!!!! XXDD
After the event, even though we're dead tired, we walked our way to McDonald's Bajada branch to eat our starving tummies. It was also a half-treat by our Himeka, Ate Kareen, her post birthday celebration. But the only party-spoiler was... NEVER MIND. :X
I am really looking forward to our next activities in DAMNation. I really enjoy the company of my co-otakus. :DD VERY MUCH!!! :DD
And I'm really hoping that many shinmais will seriously join the club!!! THE MORE, THE MERRIER!!! :DD
