Indulge my curiosity and explain why some are returning without their memories intact from their previous stay here.

Ah, I'm... not sure. There's a lot of mysteries to exactly how this world works, and then there's always the possibility of memories being suppressed due to trauma or stress (which this place isn't lacking).

But I don't think it's their fault, whatever it may be. I know Fran came back without hers, and honestly I'm almost glad Larxene's are gone even if getting her face shot off may have taught her a valuable lesson. But my point is that nothing can be achieved by being angry at them for something we don't know the cause of. We can only try to help them regain what's been lost, or let them continue on.
