yay for intineraries!!!
finally i can relax and just wait for my vacation! although it's gonna be a HECTIC one!!! i bought my plane tickets today for my trips to atlanta and washington, d.c. (i know i wrote an angry entry about my parents and the atlanta trip, and let's just say that i grew some balls and we resolved things). so starting next week, i won't be in las cruces for practically the entire month of july! i'll be in the area twice just waiting for another flight out the next day. lol that part is gonna kill me. i went to the main office at school today and they told me that central office pretty much has my trip to tyler planned out, i just need to get the itinerary from them... and they even got me a rental car instead of a shuttle bus!! SWEET!!! i was hoping they'd be able to do that so that i'd have my own transportation! i want to go exploring while i'm there! the only trip i have left to plan in san antonio, if nora would answer her phone!! i hope she'll be able to do that trip early next week, that's the only time i can. OHHH!! and i just found out something exciting! i'm spending the first half of my trip to D.C. with my friend terrina (from cruces) while i wait for malene to arrive from florida... and she told me that there is a six flags about an hour away from where she lives in maryland!! she wants to take me there!! i just might be able to make 3 out of 4 of my six flags goals! the fourth one...well...i tried. i think i'm doing a lot more than i expected to actually, money-wise.
today is also a lucky day. i'm sitting here at a friend's house in el paso waiting for class tonight, and i needed to mail out some very important student loan documents, but i had no idea where the nearest post office is, and i'm here alone for the moment. so i went to my car, ready to explore the area looking for one, when i saw the mailman nonchalantly putting mail into boxes about a block away. i walked up to him and offered him some money + a tip for a couple of stamps if he would take care of my letters, and he did. he was such a nice man, he didn't want the tip, but i gave it anyway for the convenience.
now i want to take a nap. gotta go out for liz's birthday tonight and i will not survive the rest of this week if i don't get some sleep.
AND NOW I'M HUNGRY!
