And even your Lois is fun! That's amazing!
"You think I’ve survived this long by planning for failure?" He slapped a hand to his chest in a show of overblown indignation. She wasn’t convinced.
"Consider my pride wounded," he grumbled. "Had you actually resisted temptation… Tony may have had strict instructions to toss you in the trunk."
Her outrage was every bit as feigned as his. "Bound and gagged, naturally."
With a shrug, he took another swig of his drink. "The only thing bigger than that brain of yours is the mouth it’s connected to. And by that, I mean that you’ve got a really big mouth."
Oh, Oliver! I love how he's so out there. You write him wonderfully.
Him being scared of Clark made me laugh.
It was surprisingly civil. Which just meant Clark was saving all his indestructible ( ... )

Also, the idea of Oliver being just a little intimidated by Clark (having been on the receiving end of a thirty foot backhand), even in his head, is entirely too amusing for me.
Thanks for reading, and for taking the time out to leave your thoughts.

There were tons of little moments that made me very excited for the possibilities of where you're going to go with the story, but in particular -
- the comment about Chloe's mother tugged at my gut, because the show seems to have forgotten about all of that; the way you handled it was simple and elegant
- Oliver's perspective on Chloe, of Chloe, of the surroundings and of the city's history were... well, I can't find the right word(s). Sufficed to say, I'm really looking forward to everything that comes next.
[Unless you object, I'd like to add your journal to my flist; but I'm all about personal boundaries, so it's your call.]

I think, especially with these two, that it's those little moments that define them as characters. The big things - being a hero, fighting for justice, saving the world - are so ingrained that we take them for granted as readers. The only way to spin them any differently is to make the moments in between matter just as much as the big things. In my opinion, anyway.
And of course you can friend me! Reciprocating. :)
Thanks so much for the feedback.

'Maybe tomorrow he could shoot her puppy.
Which, ironically, would still be Clark.'

The dialogue was fantastic as always. It's a stand out characteristic of your writing. I've probably said it before but you have a real handle on how to write these two.
