I are PWNed by work. Nuff said x_x

Posted here as a reminder to edit and post it on Mikami's journal. Do tell me if you spot any mistakes or inconsistencies/braindead moments. I will be most grateful~♥

Note: This analysis is written with polychromatic in mind and with the aid of herit, without whom, this character analysis will probably descent into the lowest level of suck.

Mikami is not a nice person, he is not a sociable person by nature. What everyone sees in the rp so far is just a mask he is wearing. Though he may be polite and sociable on the outside, it is because he knows that he needs friends and allies in a foreign place like the City. It will only be detrimental if he made enemies, especially since observations shows that there are many who have powers that does not exist in their world.

He is a rather predictable person. Once he settles into routine, you can be sure it will be the same for a very long time. Before he found himself in the City, he has a routine that he stuck to for years. But since he has arrived in the City, he finds himself trying to learn as much as he could about the place as well as other citizens.

It is safe to say that Mikami worships Kira and the justice that Kira represents. He does not believe that people who sinned even once should be forgiven. Mikami has shown himself to be able to carry out Kira’s judgment commendably, but for some reason, he is contented to carry out Kira’s orders. To Mikami, Kira is someone that came into a position of power whose ideals he has supported and shared. He feels it is his victory in some way.

Kira is his God and one does not question or defy one’s God. Kira represents Mikami’s ideals, his ideal. As long as Kira’s ideals remains similar to his, Mikami is more than contented to remain a follower.

It is very hard to shake his beliefs. Light has learnt this lesson from the last time and is keeping Mikami under a tighter leash. Mikami has no problems with it, he actually rather enjoy being able to spend time with his God. It makes obtaining instructions much, much easier. Also, Light tells Mikami almost everything and vice-versa. Because of this fact, it may actually be harder to convince to him that Kira is not the God that Mikami sees him as.

As for the Death Note, Mikami still uses it, just not on the residents of the City as per Kira’s order. He is not pleased with it, but he will not go against a direct order . He knows from Light that there are anti-Kira people in the City. He knows their names, but not their faces. You can bet if he manages to find out how they look, he would eliminate them happily though he knows they will be revived the very next day. Mikami knows that once you have died, you cannot return to your world, which would mean one less threat back in their world. On the same point, no, he does not know that his God is dead as one cannot see the death dates of those who possesses the Death Note.

Personal analysis;

Mikami does not like Misa much. To him, Misa is not worthy of God. Kira is perfect in his eyes. This would probably mean that 99.9% of the world’s population is unworthy of Kira… the only person that is worthy of Kira is Kira himself. From what he has seen of Misa, Mikami is not impressed, even when Light revealed that Misa is the second Kira. Sure, he tolerates her for Kira’s sake, but that does not mean that he likes her at all.

I feel that Mikami may have OCPD and at the very least, a mild case of OCD. From what little we have seen of him and his room, it is completely void of personality, everything is perfectly arranged. Mikami treasures his personal space and loath people intruding into it. I see him as someone who shuns the touch of others… unless it is God, of course.

Then again, this is just my take on him. I do not expect everyone to agree with me and I am always up for a good debate, so long as it does dissolve into drama.
