Wisenheimer, wising up?

"Dr. G.

This will be short and factual and to the point. I've thought about this and I've written another paper. It's a full four pages and it's about the validity of the scientific discoveries made during Cook's travels. It's short, and it's very poorly written. So after writing and thinking, I want you to grade the first one, or just give me a zero, because I don't think I deserved a second chance. It was my irresponsibility that led me to write the second paper, and it's my fault I didn't even think to talk to you about the nature of my first paper before turning it in when I should've done so before I started writing. So I don't really know what to make of the situation, but that's how I feel about it. College isn't just about knowledge and experience, it's also about personal growth. And I think I need to learn to grow up.

Thanks,
Brett B."
