Week-end....
This week-end brought his lot of fun :)
I finally DINGed BRD55, and so gained access to Mage's Ballad II !
Now, time to spend hours in dangerous dungeons to get the 3 AF pieces worth it...
First Step: Choral Cannions
As Norrsken also needed the Castle Oztroja coffer key, here are a PLD and a SMN zerging these damn Yagudos. Garuda was great on them, with 1.6K - 1.8K damage every minute. 2:30 Hours later, we both have ours.
We then headed to Castle Zvahl Baileys for my AF Hat key, but we got no drop and gave up... Thank you Pindaro to have come though ;)
So now, it's time to go back to Castle O' on my BRD.
1st attempt: I have the 4-lever door opened by a THF walking here, so I start my roaming with Invisible on... 1 hour later, no coffer... And I aggro leeches of course... Death #1. Death Warp.
2nd attempt: Murphie (WHM31) was in castle O' to get his magicite for Rank 5, and offered his help. He saved my day. Nobody to open the 4-lever door, so I had to reraise, Lullaby the 2 mobs, open the door and die at the Brass Door at the upper floor. Murphie followed me, and waits for me to open the door. I open and...
(Murphie) No, the Coffer is not here...
(Taliesin) D'oh ! OK open the door...
Door opens and behind the stone : Treasure Coffer !!!!
Obtained: Choral Cannions !!!
Woooooooot !!!!
We then headed to Murphie's magicite and it was over for me.
The day after, I helped Norr get his Warlock Tabard, easily and quickly done.
After having declined a Noob invite (WAR54/NIN16 and MNK54/WAR11), I got invited by Kirstie and Tilion to get him some BLU spells. We got him 1000 needles (off Cactuars in Western Altepa Desert) and Spineal Cleave (off Qutrubs in Arrapago Reef). A nice run !!!
And it's over for this week-end....
