(no subject)
I dont have to actually start my day till 5:00 tomorrow evening! Im soo so excited! Not having to wake up at 7:30 or 8 is a wonderful feeling. So, the museum volunteer work ended yesterday and i started Captin's Quarter's today. It was fun, a little overwhelming and i felt sort of out-of-place. People kept asking me questions that i had no idea how to answer except run over to the manager and have them ask her. I have only 3 more days of pied left! woo hoo! Today my mean manager was trying to make me feel bad about leaving and said i'm missing out on an awesome bonus. And then he told me not to try coming back in november. Yeah, i'm sure i'll be begging for my job back at the end of the season just to get my sucky bonus. Honestly, my bonus last year was the worst it's ever been and that was the year i worked the most, too. It's the whole new management thing that's really made pied a crap hole. The whole atmosphere just depresses me. No one new was trained properly so when they mess up they get either made fun of or yelled at. I dont know what it is lately, but i cannot seem to go into work happy and leave feeling the same way. It just doesnt happen too often. So, enough complaining about my job...
I went to Cedar Point with April yesterday for her birthday, and she, brittany, and i rode the rip cord!! It was the most fun and scariest thing i've ever done in my whole life. In the pictures it looks like i'm crying. But, i must admit, it was well worth the tears.
Since i dont have any obligations till 5, i think i'm going to hang out at the school and try to get most of my paper done. It's due friday and then im done with that class forever. The lady at the museum said i can come volunteer whenever i want. haha, it was a nice offer.
Ashley is coming exactly a week from today! So all of you who LOVE her, here's your chance to see her before she goes back to school.
