Well, the first official review of the film adaptation of "The Road" is UP!
I'm now considerably less skeptical about it - this review definitely gave me some hope, and I am officially excited. I even looked up some pictures of the abandoned Pennsylvania Turnpike where they filmed some of it...looks spot-fuckin'-on to me.
If any of you haven't read it, I'd highly, highly recommend it; it's unlike anything I've ever read before. But do not, I repeat, DO NOT read it right before you go to bed. In fact, when the film does come out, I'll probably go to the earliest available show, preferably on a sunny and beautiful day.
