Man! Work today was totally annoying. Mostly annoying because co-worker asked me to help her fix the computer. Apparently something was going on and she couldn't log on to the internets. So I figure, okay, it's a total inconvenience, but an easy fix. Turns out the co-worker couldn't log into her yahoo email. Great. I ask co-worker to show me what she's doing to log in. She claimed that she was using all variations of her user id and all variations of her password and none of it was working. Her suspicion is that the other person sharing her office was snooping around in her emails. Whatever.
In the end, I tell her that this is something I can't help her with because I don't know her information and that she should follow the steps to retrieve the information. Turns out, she doesn't have an alternate email that yahoo has on file. I'm standing there not believing what she's asking of me. WTF?
Later that afternoon, she calls me up and asks me if I called the other person to get it fixed. Nope, why the hell would I do that? Either yahoo was having an internal problem, or she somehow miraculously remembered how to type her information and get into the system.
Jeez ba Jeez.
