March Update
I wanted to give you a quick update on my job/life situation.
First of all, thank you everyone for the emails, voicemails, text messages and all the support you have given me over the past month.
Luckily I was not unemployed for long! I started an hourly position with Sunday River at one of the baselodges, working Condo check ins, and selling lift tickets. They have been great, making me feel very wanted and appreciated right from the beginning. It is also nice to not take work home with me at the end of the shift, and not have a whole lot of responsibilities. It's somewhat refreshing to be just a worker bee.
I am also working 4-5 nights a week bartending and waitressing at 22 Broad Street, a family run italian restaurant down the street from my house.
Right now it looks like I will be staying in Bethel until the middle of April, when the hours at Sunday River dry up.
At that point I'll be moving to Harpswell, where I will be conducting the job search from the third floor of Mom & Dad's house (THANK YOU!)
Currently I am targeting my job search around Portland & Southern Maine, Portsmouth NH, Boston, the North Shore, Cape Cod, and Rhode Island.
Likely I will be bartending/waitressing somewhere on the coast for the summer while I'm figuring things out.
I'll keep you all posted on how things are going and where I end up!
