Booze, Movies and Secuirty
Goodness, I need to update my blog much more often. Ok kids so yes. We'll start off on my b-day. So I took last thursday and friday off to enjoy my coming of age to drink with the big kids. On thursday Amanda and myself headed to The Local, which is my favorite Irish Pub/restaurant and had a glass of Guinness along with some tasty Irish things, seems fitting to awknowledge my heritage with the first legal drink, quite fun. After that I went to the liquor store and bought booze for my party, it was so weird. I felt like I shouldn't be in there, but there I was. Denise, Lloyd and I then went to Buca for Dine Out For Life and support a good cause while eating. I got a berry martini, very fantastic I'll have you know. After that we came home to eat my cake and we didnt have candles so Lloyd made me blow out the giant pillar candle haha. Friday was hectic, I was cleaning and getting ready for my party. Andrea and Andy (Denise and I going to be on a bowling team with them starting in a couple weeks) and we had a shot of chocolate cake. Andy and I had a fun conversation about politics, he's a repub so it was good. More people showed up and more drinking began. Around 8 I was already pretty trashed, so I drank so much water. We headed to the Gay 90's at 10 and again drank a lot at the bars, dancing and booze really isn't a good idea for I'll just say. I made out with a random boy, which I have his number, but not sure if I should call him because I have a feeling he's older (like mid 30's) and I couldn't tell at the bar because I was really drunk haha. So I might just wait for him to call me instead haha.
Yesterday after work Denise picked me up because we had two tickets to a special showing of Made of Honor and apparently we got there just in time because there was apparently limited seats. We're walking to the theater and we had to go through security, like a metal detector, to ensure we had no cameras to document the movie haha. It was pretty intense for a movie. But it was a cute movie, even if, like most movies, gives a false impression of how love works. But yeah.
Well my lunch is only 10 more minutes long so I figure I should go back, oh joy.
