It's Spring!

*Does a little spring jig*

Yeah, I'm super happy. Today they had forecasted that it was supposed to rain but it didn't and instead we had a most wonderful day. It was 60 degrees, although I spent most of my time in at work, I took my late lunch outside on the campus. I have been waiting for this weather for so long, it's about the same as it was when I was in california about a month ago which is perfect weather. The only thing better is that it's not dry like it was there. My mounds of snow on my balcony I had last week are completely gone. Almost all the snow is gone, which is evident by he mud.

Today at work I spent a good portion of the day off of the phones. I had a team meeting around noon, then went back on the phones from 1 to 1:30. 1:30 to 2:30 had the Voice of the Team meeting which was interesting, I suppose. It's basically to get our input on what can be done to improve working conditions, I was the representative for my team. That meeting went over and didn't get done until 2:40 and then afterwards I took my late lunch. Got back at 3:30 and had my last break at 5:15. So the rest of my day went by quickly.

I think that since it's finally nice I'm gonna start running again. I need to keep it up though, I really need to find a running partner, but it's hard to find someone that would be committed to doing that, I tend to not stick to it for very long without someone else motivating me which is kind of lame.

Oh, well Sunday night was the Scissor Sisters at the Myth all the way in fucking Maplewood. Seriously, who wants to freaking play out there, seriously they are lame. Their dress code sign outside was rather pathetic. I can't remember it verbatim, but basically it was "We don't care what you wear for concerts, except please refrain from baggy pants. If you are on the balcony and you are not dressed properly we will ask you to go downstairs because we need to save that for our "sexy" customers." Um yeah......I'm sorry but the only losers that go to your club are those crazy do nothing surbanite adults who probably still live with their parents. Jeff, Addy and I were standing when we were waiting for the concert to begin and some crazy fool was like "This is the best venue ever." Ummmm, freak. So the opening band was Wigs on Sticks....literally wigs on sticks haha. It was cute, I took a picture with my phone but it doesn't show up very well. The concert was definately good though. This friday I'm going to the Of Montreal concert at First Avenue which actually is a good venue for music. So that'll be fun, Niki, Sarah, a friend of hers, my roommate Jay are all going. Addy and Jeff said they're going to so it'll be quite fun I'm sure.

work, scissor sisters, the myth, spring, of montreal
