Plane rides and Warmth
Well I'm here in california! Yay! It didn't come soon enough though. Ok so yesterday, after getting ready tyler got up and he was in a hurry to go, so I grabbed all my stuff (or so I thought) and we left. So I get there and I as I'm walking in line to the security check point I realize "Shit, where's my cell phone?!?!" Yes I left it in minnesota. So I get to my gate and I'm freaking out because I told Andrew I would call him before the plane left. So I sat down for a half hour scheming a plan to somehow call him. Eventually I worked up my courage to ask this guy who was sitting next to me, and it was a damn good thing because he had a sprint phone. So I called sprint and I was like, ok so I need a number that I called yesterday, I had the operator repeat it like 6 times so I could memorize it. Which I hung up and left a message for Andrew.
Well 8:30 we got on our plane and I sat by this extremely cute asian couple, who spoke to me as we were landing and I had hard time understanding them but they were so nice. I got out and I was so lost, although LAX wasn't as confusing as I thought it would be. So I mosied down to the baggage claim and found Andrew. We waited what felt like years for my bags and then we went to Orange. The weather has been incredible so far. It's been 60-70 and very sunny, although today I think it was 80 something. When we got there I helped Andrew and some of his friends decorate the RA room and then I went to Andrew's room and crashed being that I had been up for 30+ hours. Then today we went to Huntington beach with Andrew and his friend Joe. It was so nice, I took my shirt off and just laid down. Then I went into the water a little bit, first time being to the ocean since I was 5, god it's been a long time. Back when my aunt Debbie carried me onto her shoulders into the ocean and I was afraid she was going to dunk me. Good memories. Anyways I'm gonna go now. I'm sure I will have lots to update about throughout the week :)
