HOLY FUCKING SHIT, THE HORRORPOPS ROCKED SO FUCKING HARD.
That was one of the best shows I've ever been to. I had such a bloody kickass time. And, to top it all off, my hair was perfect and I was able to get some kickass pics (finally) of us. The only thing that sucked were the old-school punks who were there, trying to pull everyone into the pit. They kept falling on me, since I was close to the front, and EErie was kept pretty busy shoving guys away from me. I loved how the boyfriends and bigger guys around us stepped up to protect us smaller girls and made a ring of protection--kind of like a crowd control. At one point, I got seperated from EErie, and was covering this skinny girl because she kept getting hit, BAD, so then, EERie fights his way over, and pushes us both behing him and covers us. And I liked the unspoken commaraderie among the guys on the "crowd control ring"--when a girl was getting hit, they'd cover her, when some one fell down, they'd all reach down and pick them up again. God, it was some good shit last night.
We were in traffic forever, but we didn't care. We had provisions and good music. I loves me some billy.
I had Baker's for the first time tonight--it was good.
I saw a girl from one of my communitites there--she and her boyfriend?/husband? recognized me from my user pic and came up and said hi. HI CARRIE!!! :)
Lost my voice from screaming, and my throat is hoarse, but, oh-so-worth-it.
Danced through the entire show, and shoved and hit people--I got out a lot of aggression, and it felt oh-so-good...but perhaps I expended too much energy because I was faling asleep on the way home, despite my efforts and the mass quantities of coffee and tea consumed, so EErie drove whilst I slept.
Gots me a new hoodie--it's warm. Mmmmm...
One helluva day. A good one, definitely, despite my test, whcih I know I did not get the much-needed 77% on...we'll see what happens with that...but now, kiddies, I am utterly and completely exhausted, and I have to work tomorrow--I'm gonna wear a kickass outfit, too.
