So here we are at the end of another year . . .
**JANUARY **
1. Where did you spend New Year's Eve?
Pathetically, at the movie theater with Joel and Alexis. We saw Little Children and then snuck into Dreamgirls. LAME.
2. Did you have a New Year's resolution that year?
I don't generally do resolutions, so I'm gonna say no.
3. Does it snow where you live?
It does in New York, yes.
4. Do you like hot chocolate?
It's my most favorite thing ever, but I do enjoy it on occasion.
5. Have you ever been to Times Square to watch the ball drop?
I have no desire to ever be anywhere near Times Squares on New Year's Eve.
** FEBRUARY **
1. Who was your Valentine?
No one.
2. When you were little, did you buy valentines for all of your classmates?
I did. It was the rule that if you brought valentines you had to have one for EVERYONE in the class. I didn't like that because there were some people who just didn't deserve valentines. But I brought them one anyway.
3. Do you care if the groundhog sees its shadow or not?
I enjoy hearing about it but it doesn't seem to affect the weather in New York much unfortunately.
** MARCH **
1. Are you Irish?
I am indeed.
2. Did you wear green on St. Patty's Day?
Of course, wouldn't want to get pinched.
3. What did you do for St. Patty's Day in 2007?
Um . . . when was St. Patty's Day in 2007? I wanna say I was packing a suitcase as a veritable blizzard raged outside. Or I was on a plane.
4. Are you happy when winter is pretty much over?
I enjoy the snow, and I don't mind it being a little cold. When it gets wet and windy though, I'm out.
** APRIL **
1. Do you like the rain?
I prefer Portland rain to New York rain. It's much more laid back.
2. Did you play an April fool's joke on anyone this year?
I don't think so, no.
3. Do you get tons of candy on Easter?
I don't. Which is okay.
4. Do you celebrate 4/20?
Not really, no.
5. Do you love the month of April?
I guess . . . I mean, I don't NOT love it.
** MAY **
1. What's your favorite kind of flower?
Roses are a classic.
2. Do you like the spring?
Depends on how bad my allergies are. But generally in New York there's not enough greenery to affect my allergies so spring is lovely. In Portland, however, there is plenty of greenery and I must suffer all through spring.
3. Finish the phrase "April showers...":
I'm not even going to deign to finish that.
4. What is the first color you think of when you think of Spring?
Green . . .?
** JUNE **
1. Did you graduate high school yet?
Oh yes. A long while ago.
2. Did you realize nothing special happens in June?
That's simply not true. Summer musicals begin in June. That's pretty damn special.
** JULY **
1. What did you do on the Fourth of July?
Was invited to a party. But when I got to the party, I discovered that it was not, in fact, a party. That was disappointing.
2. Did you go on any vacations during this month?
No. My vacation was in June. So there's another special thing that happened in June.
3. Do you blast the A/C all day?
I don't mind roughing it a little. It wasn't tall that bad, really.
** AUGUST **
1. Did you do anything special at the end of your summer?
It wasn't at the very end, but I went on a road trip up the east coast. I guess that's special.
2. What was your favorite summer memory of '07?
Staying out til 4 and sleeping in til 3.
3. Did you have a sunburn?
I did not.
4. Did you go to the beach a lot?
It's been literally years since I've been to a beach. Every time I try to go my plans are thwarted.
** SEPTEMBER **
1. Did you attend school/college in '07?
Mariamontis Manhattanencis. Class of 2008.
2. Who is your favorite teacher?
Robert Ramirez.
3. Do you like fall better than summer?
In New York, yes. Summer is much too hot, but fall is very nice. Except for Fall 2007 when it was way too hot for way too long.
4. What did you do for Labor Day?
Went shopping and then saw the Hairpsray movie.
** OCTOBER **
1. What was your Halloween costume?
Gary Granger of Addams Family Values fame.
2. What's your favorite candy?
I enjoy Sour Patch Kids. Anything sour.
3. What did you do for Halloween?
Went to a party a few days before. On the actual day . . . I can't even recall. Must've been so bad I blocked it out.
** NOVEMBER**
1. Whose house did you go to for Thanksgiving?
My house.
2. Do you love stuffing?
Oh yes. So much. All I really want on Thanksgiving is stuffing.
3. What are you thankful for?
Family. Friends. Life.
** DECEMBER **
1. Do you celebrate Christmas?
But of course.
2. If not, what do you celebrate?
. . . .
3. Have you ever been kissed under mistletoe?
Not in 2007, but I'm pretty sure it happened at Winter Formal 2006: Home for the Holidays on the Holiday Range.
4. Get anything special last year?
I can't remember anything I got last year . . . so I guess none of it was very special. Hm.
