Yep nature is personality for pokémon. The pokégear will tell you which one your pokémon has.

Apparently Céleste has a "Gentle" nature and Basile has a "Naughty" nature. I guess that explains something.

That's why I asked in the first place. Naughty pokémon would naturally not listen to you. So now you got to figure how to get around that.

I'd say when Basile acts up just ignore him first.
