Bush is supposed to be taking troops out of Iraq, but in Minnesota another 800 or more National Guard troops are being sent over!? FUCK YOU COMMANDER IN CHIEF FUCK YOU AND YOUR STUPID PROMISES! FUCK YOU!
I know he said in the State of the Union that by the end of the year he was going to be bringing back a whole shit ton of troops, but he made it seem like there was no reason to send anyone else over. Complete Bullshit. Those poor men and women. If i had faith i'd pray for them, but i don't so all i can do is hope for their wellbeing and their safe and speedy return. The story on Minnesota public radio today about the NG troops from MN made me so angry it actually brought me to tears. What is the FUCKING POINT!? God, somebody shoot him already. If Stuart gets fucked up from this idiotic war i will go find Bush and shoot him myself. With an Uzi. damn right.
AT least we only have around 368 days left of him and his administration in office. that was a terrible sentence. you get the point.
I love how political this side of my family is. I went to the Caucus on Super Tuesday with my Uncle Andrew to see how it went, and my god was it hectic. Loooooong lines, and chaos once we got into the actual polling area. I could have even voted, they wouldn't have noticed. But I didn't, I will in Oregon once may comes around. Obama swept Minnesota anyway.
I fly home on Monday. That sucks, I really like it out here. I want to go back to Eugene granted, I miss my friends and such, but out here I always feel different. Feel.... poised? something like that. I'm thinkin that i might move out here when i graduate. We'll see what happens in a few years.
Oh, i went to the Minneapolis Institute of the Arts today as well and saw Lucretia again. The Rembrandt painting. Fucking gorgeous.
there was also an exhibit of black and white photography from about 1850 to the 1990's by both american and european photographers. I thought it was brilliant. So many beautiful peices. One that really caught me was a portriat of a Farmers wife from the Dust bowl, i think it was dated 1932. The dispair in her eyes as well as her prematurly aged face were haunting. Amazing.
Dad got me some black and white film and a camera bag for my cannon, so i think when i get back Kat and I or Dave and I (or both for that matter) are going to go shoot some. Dave has been teaching me the basics of my camera too, so basically I'm itching to take some pictures with it. To bad its in eugene right now.
ok. tootles.
