When gods are mortals
I am not a big fan of commemorations in general and I am not naive about the political agenda and the communication operation behind such event, but I'm still watching the Panthéonisation ceremony of Germaine Tillion, Geneviève De Gaulle-Anthonioz, Pierre Brossolette and Jean Zay.
I'm posting about it because I'm curious. Is it making the news abroad? If so, how do you understand it?
ETA: You can see that it's very sunny today in Paris!
Note that there are only 4 women in the Panthéon, out of 75 "Grands Hommes". Only 4....
