Following a previous entry of mine on rereading La Recherche du temps perdu, and thanks to herself_nyc, who found this via tumblr, I believe, here is the translation into English of an interview with the lovely Daniel Mendelsohn about Proust!

Also OpenCulture provides links to free art catalogues from the Metropolitan Museum. There are actually 397 out-of-print texts online.

Did you know that the Phantom of the Opera still had his official box at the Palais Garnier? Here's my picture of B5!


BTW, in case you don't know it, before it was adapted on stage and on screen, Le Fantome de l'Opéra (The Phantom of the Opera) was a French novel written by Gaston Leroux, and published in 1910. I had no idea that there was an actual box at he Opera Garnier, dedicated to the phantom though.
