RECTIFY isn't for everybody The pace is slow, there's little action...
But I do love that little show and I'm so glad it exists, and that it has so many Deadwood alumni!
"Sleeping Giants" was another fine installment, even though Daniel took the backseat again, and even more than in the first episode. The Amantha scenes were well done (and gorgeously filmed), I love the way the Ted Jr/Tawney marriage is written, and Teddy, who wasn't very likeable in season 1 (besides he had one of those faces you want to punch) and might still be an asshole, is quickly becoming my favourite character -- I should call it the Pete Campbell syndrome!
There are all so human in all their strength, flaws, weaknesses, pettiness and lightness.
RECTIFY is a show about the throbbing human heart.
