I think I'm gonna love this fourth season!

"Hole In the Wall" was pretty perfect an opener. Great lines, lots of fun to have, Raylan being his cool and yet dickish self, hilarious situations, many parallels in the writing - between Raylan and Boyd of course, as usual, but also between Raylan and Jody, or Raylan and Constable Bob, or Boyd and Snake Preacher-, an evil and creepy Arlo, a ( Read more... )

I loved this ep. I didn't realize how much I've been missing Raylan till I saw it. I missed Timothy Olyphant too. Besides him looking delish as usual he is just so perfectly perfect as Raylan and he brings him to life in a way that's so real and so nuanced. We truly are lucky to get to watch a show of this caliber.

I think it's the role of his life, the perfect character for him to embody. He was good in Deadwood too, but he's simply terrific as Raylan, and he is like a duck to the water when it comes to the humour and witty dialogues.

I just realised something. I wouldn't be surprised if, this time, Arlo killed to protect his real son. It would provide a nice counterpoint to last season, and would kinda redeem Arlo, who has never looked more evil than in that cell.

But I hope the secret Arlo wacked the inmate for isn't going to break Raylan's heart even more than Arlo's behaviour last year...

The man is strong, but sill.
